WILLIS, Paddy

So sorry to learn of the death of Paddy just now through Philip Orr. We went to St Columba's College and TCD together and shared digs in Grosvenor Square. Then lost touch but he and Anne did go to the funeral of my wife Geraldine in Bray. I met her in TCD and she was a friend of Paddy and Anne. Very best to the large family he left.

VINCENT, Sylvia

Linda, Ronnie, and Stephen, we were deeply saddened to hear of your Mum's passing. She was a remarkable woman, full of warmth and grace, and a true friend to my mum Joan and all the pram club members. Her radiant smile, elegance, and youthful looks will be fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. We regret that we couldn’t attend the funeral, but please know that our thoughts are with you all now. Heartfelt sympathy, Sheldon & Mary, Ivan, Hillary and Gillian

CLAFFEY, Noel

I am extremely saddened to learn of Noel passing, My deepest sympathies to all Noel’s close family and friends at this sad time. I have the most warm memories of working under his supervision of my graduate studies in DDH (1997 - 2001) , He was truly one of a kind- passionate, enthusiastic, supremely knowledgeable and endlessly supportive to students. His intelligence and humour made him a joy to work with. A lovely man who will be sadly missed and he will be forever in our memories. May he rest in peace.
