CONROY - Oonagh (Florida / Rathfarnham, Dublin) – 28 August, 2024, (peacefully). Born 7 May, 1936 to Frank and Kay Conroy of Rathfarnham. Pre-deceased by husband Vincent, sisters Maureen and Carmel and brothers Brian and Frank. Sadly missed by her daughter Liz, her son-in-law Alan, a grand-daughter, two great-grandsons and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also fondly remembered by Aer Lingus colleagues from her glamorous and adventurous flying days. A loyal woman of great determination yet sensitive and empathetic. An adventurous spirit, a life-long mentor and friend to people from all walks, with a wanderlust for travel to Lake Como, to her homeland, to her ancestral home of Garafin, Rosmuc, Co. Galway and other favourite locales. She was a curious soul and enjoyed a good story (telling them and hearing them) and discussing world events. Oonagh had a great sense of humour, with an infectious laugh wrapped up in flirtatious charm. Memorial Services to be announced at a later date.

A beautiful spirit and a person that I admired because she loved life. Her spirit will live on in my heart because of her contagious laugh and her mile wide smile. God Bless!
