SEARSON, (née Gérecz) Krisztina, in Budapset, Hungary on October 7, 2022, (formerly of Eger, Hungary and Deansgrange, Co. Dublin). Sadly missed by her parents Géza and Ilona, her sisters Adrien (Lawless) and Beatrix, her former husband Charles, their children Maximilian, Lillian, Frederick and Otto, her aunt, cousins in Hungary, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law Sarah and Helen and brother-in-law Garret. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock on Saturday, November 19 at 10.00am Mass. May she rest in peace.

Senki nem irta le jobban, mint a költö Nagybátyánk, 1956 martírja: GÉRECZ ATTILA Az idegenné lett élet ... Körülöttünk csak fény és csak tükör volt. Szivárvány íven hajolt ránk az ég. S úgy tetszett mintha rengeteg teremben és ezer arccal mi lennénk az ember a mennyre istent s mosolyt szórva szét. Fagy jött. A tükör megrepedt és lehullt. Mosoly szilánkok, tört remény maradt, bezárult négy fal, jéghideg lehelet, s a céljavesztett, szürke évek mellett elidegenült, szennyes áradat. (Gyűjtő, Kisfogház, 1954.) It's been exactly two years that you were laid to rest in Budapest. Our parents were at Church today for a Mass that was devoted to you. I miss your laughs, your intelligent remarks, your love and caring. Your loss made me realize that I had to embark on a new life journey that will help our family -the Gérecz family- to have some closer. Love you forever!
