DUDDY, Sr. Joan (Sandymount, Dublin 4) - July 23rd 2024. (Peacefully) in the kind care of all the staff in the Blackrock Clinic. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, her family of Mercy Sisters, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Remembering also her family and friends who have gone before her. Reposing (Friday) July 26th at her home from 3pm-7pm. Removal Saturday July 27th to the Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount, arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass and can be viewed online at https://www.mcn.live/camera/st-marys-star-of-the-sea-​sandym​ount/ followed by burial in the community cemetery, Inchicore. May she rest in peace

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our dear cousin Sister Joan.She was always friendly and very helpful in medical matters.She spent her life caring for the sick and needy and we are sure she is now reaping her reward in heaven.

I was in same class in Carysfort with Sr. Joan for five years. My deepest sympathy to Sr. Joan's Family and her Mercy Sisters on her passing R.I.P. It was only whilst reading a recent Church Newsletter that I saw that she has passed.

Many Fond memories of Sr Joan during our years in the Mater. Her sharp wit and sense of humour are some of our best memories, but most of all her professionalism and how she always put her patients to the fore was much more evident .
