McMAHON, C.S.Sp. Rev Michael (Kimmage Manor and late of Clonliffe Road, Dublin) - Died Tuesday, 13th August 2024. Missionary in Ireland and, for five decades, Kenya, son of the late Eileen (née Breen) and Michael McMahon. Pre-deceased by his brother John, sisters-in-law Maura (O’Driscoll) and Agnes (Miller), and brother in-law Gerard (O’Byrne). Deeply regretted by his sisters Ann (O’Byrne) and Eileen (O’Hanlon), his brothers Frank, Brian and Kevin, sisters-in-law Agnes (Carr), Philomena (Cremin) and Marianne (Garvey), brother-in-law Ray (O’Hanlon), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, friends and fellow Spiritans. May he Rest in Peace. Funeral Mass will take place in the Holy Spirit Parish Church, Kimmage Manor (D12 WP44) at 11am on Saturday 17th August followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery. I used to cook for Fr Mike while his Cook was on leave, I was in highschool back then. Learned this with deep sorrow.

Fr. Mike was both a Mentor and a Spiritual Director for some of us Kenyan Mercy Sisters. He nurtured us spiritually and helped us to grow in our religious vocation. His generosity to so any needy students was remarkable. May theGood Lordresthis soul in eternal rest.

Rev.fr.Michael MacMahon is remembered for mentoring many Kabaa Boys in Kabaa high school especially where he taught Catholic faith and chemistry.I personally remember him for assisting me later when I was sending my children to high school,he was very kind.May God Rest his life in peace..
