McDONALD, Patrick (Paddy) (Late of Drumcondra and formerly of Bantry) - December 30, 2023. Passed peacefully, aged 91 years, in the loving care of his family and the staff of the Sacred Heart Residence, Sybil Hill. Cherished husband of Marie, loving father of John, beloved brother of the late Tony, beloved father-in-law of Clíona and beloved brother-in-law of Bernadette, Mike and the late Noreen and Sheila. Sadly missed by his family, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends. HESKIN, Kay, (Grattan Park, Galway City and formerly of Tuam, Co. Galway) - December 30, 2023. Peacefully at home surrounded by family. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, her devoted carer Chin, and a wide circle of family and friends. Mass will be livestreamed on the parish website. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) today (Wednesday), January 3, 2024 from 4 p.m. with Removal at 5.30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Kay at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Tuam cemetery. May she rest in peace after a long life well lived.

JONES, (née Murphy) Margaret (Templeogue) - 1st January 2024, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Gascoigne House Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Vincent and much loved mother of Declan and Simon. Margaret’s was a life fully and truly lived and she will be sadly missed by all of us who knew and loved her: her sons, daughter-in-law Liz, cherished grandchildren Daniel (and his wife Jamee), Ethan and Rebecca, sisters Philomena, Monica, Brigid, Susan and Alice, brother Owen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cork and formerly of the Representative Church Body, Pembroke Wanderers H.C. and Leinster C.C.) - 31st December 2023, peacefully, in the care of the staff at St. John’s House Nursing Home, Merrion Road. Beloved husband of the late Doreen and devoted father of David, Brian, Gillian and Vanessa.
