STEWART, Norah (née Burns) (Maunsells Road, Galway and formerly Rosmeen, Ballintubber, Co. Roscommon) June 25, 2022 Very peacefully at home with her devoted husband Seán and family by her side. A dearly loved wife of fifty-two years and adored mother of Sara, Rachael and Paul. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her husband and children, sister Margaret, son-in-law Brian, daughter-in-law Claire, her cherished grandchildren Seán and Ava, Jack, Amelie and Zoe, nephews and nieces, the extended Stewart and Burns family, carers and friends. Her inimitable style, warmth, utter kindness and zest for life will stay with us. She exuded love. We were so blessed. O'REGAN, Paula (Goatstown) on mid Summers Day in the gentle care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. She was a unique, loving and creative individual, principled and kind with a wide range of friends. She lived life lit by the qualities of resilience, patience, warmth and respect for nature and the environment. Over the past two years she dealt with illness in the way that she dealt with life generally – and with the priceless support of her great friends Helen, Mairead and Rosemary. She found true happiness in her wide circle of friendships. She was deeply loved by her brothers John and Charles, sister-in-law Susan, nephew Tadhg and was a dear sister to her late brother David. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon from 4.30 pm to 6 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 10.00 am in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery. Wild or garden flowers only. May her gentle soul Rest in peace

MARMION - Tom (Goatstown, Dublin) (June 28 2021) - On Tom’s First Anniversary, Bernadette (B), Joe, Nick, Phil, Andy and their families would like to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to the following: our friends and neighbours, former colleagues and past students of Holy Child Community School, Sallynoggin, who lent their support in so many ways before and after Tom’s final illness, and the many who attended his funeral Mass, or sent Mass cards and condolence messages; the nurses and doctors of Cara Ward at Saint Vincent’s Private Hospital for their sympathetic care, and especially the team at Blackrock Hospice for the wonderful way in which they cared for Tom in his final week;

Fr. Noel Barber SJ, who celebrated Tom’s funeral Mass and led the prayers at his cremation, Tony Dunne for his very touching tribute, Fr. Columba McCann OSB for his calming organ music and for conducting the graveside prayers, and the monks of Glenstal Abbey who sang and prayed with us;

the parish team of St. Laurence’s Church Kilmacud for their help, and the community of Kilmacud Carmel who supported the family with prayers and e-mails during a difficult time, and who continue to do so. To those whom we were unable to thank individually at the time, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. Tom would have been more than pleased to know that so many people remembered him and held him in such high regard. He is greatly missed.
