9 July 1933 - 27 September 2022.

We, the family of the late Mary Gardiner, wish to express heartfelt thanks to our extended families, relations, neighbours and friends who helped and supported us at the time of the loss of our beloved mother. Every kind wish, sympathy card, text, phone, email, floral wreath and bouquet was greatly appreciated. Special thanks to all who travelled to be with us and to those who contributed to the funeral arrangements, in particular Eddie Mulhare, Fr. Tom McDermott and funeral director, Henry Black. Sincere thanks to Dr. Harry Kelleher who treated mum with such compassion and dignity and to Patricia O’Connor, Ann Daly and Christel Backman-Walsh for their friendship and care. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude to all who have shared many treasured memories and supported us in the loss of a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Mass shall be offered on Sunday, 24th September at 10am at St. Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house

of the Lord forever.
