JOHNSTON, Violet ('Vi')

JOHNSTON, (née Martin) Violet (‘Vi’) Frances Margaret (late of Rathgar, Churchtown and Brabazon House, Sandymount) – 18th March 2024. Peacefully, in her 101st year at Brabazon House. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Irwin, loving mother of Sandra (Sherwood) and Irwin. Very sadly missed by her grandsons Peter and Dylan (Sherwood), granddaughter Victoria (Johnston), and daughter-in-law Janice. Greatly missed by her nephews and nieces in New Zealand and Australia, extended family and many friends, including all the caring and loving staff at Brabazon House. A special thank you to the Harold’s Cross Hospice Specialist Community Palliative Care Team for their expertise and loving care. Funeral Service on Friday, 22nd March at 11.30am at Rathgar Methodist Church, Brighton Road, Dublin 6, followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only.
