Australia has lost a true friend in Gary Kilgallen, the founding President of the Ireland Australia Association established in 1981. We enjoyed Gary’s company and spirited conversations and his love and passion for all things Australia, including the politics was infectious. Gary remained involved with the IAA throughout and was honoured with a certificate of recognition presented by Australian Ambassador to Ireland Hon. Gary Gray AO at his residence, Abbey Lea at the IAA Summer BBQ in August 2021. Thank you, Gearoid, for your warm friendship and stewardship of the IAA and we will continue in your legacy. Rest in peace.

Clinton Donkin, President, Ireland Australia Assocaition

REYNOLDS, Leo

As a father, Leo was devoted, encouraging, supportive, fun-loving and considerate, attributes which extended yet further to his daughters' friends, towards whom he always extended the genuine warmth of a gracious welcome, coupled with a sincere interest in how our lives were going for us. A very good person, his legacy will be the profound loss with which his doting daughters are now faced, such was the extent of his dedication to them as an unwaveringly loving Dad. Requiescat in pace.

I'll be in Ireland, in Dublin, from the 17th to 30th of april. Maybe could I see one of you ? I've got so much good memories of my stays in Tramore with all your family. Hope I'll see you. Dear Von, so sorry to hear if her passing. I had hoped to see her on my upcoming trip to Ireland. Vin was so much Von to be with, a ready laugh and very generous with her time. Never forget our bus trip to Sonya and Kate’s home. She was hilarious as she manoeuvred me as her assistant. My condolences to all family members. ❤️Love Anna ( Chrétien)

A Spanish poet wrote these words at the end of a poem we shared with her: A las aladas almas de las rosas del almendro de nata te requiero, que tenemos que hablar de muchas cosas, compañero del alma, compañero. So sad to say goodbye, better to say see you later. Cova and Juan
