WYSE JACKSON, Vanessa (née Risk) (Rathmines). April 6, 2022, in the gentle and tender care of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, beloved mother of Susanna and Katie, adored wife of Patrick, loving sister of Lesley and Mark, and daughter of the late Harry and Mae Risk. Vanessa will be greatly missed by her wide family circle and many friends, and her passing will leave a huge void impossible to fill. She lived a full, rich, happy, and varied life which revolved around family, cats, and friends. Funeral private. A service of thanksgiving will take place on a later date to be announced. Donations if desired in memory of Vanessa will be welcomingly received by the Donkey Sanctuary, Liscarroll, Cork; the DSPCA, Rathfarnham; or Seal Rescue Ireland, Courtown Harbour.

I was so sorry and shocked to hear of Vanessa's death. Condolences to all her family and friends. I have such happy memories of her humour and solid good sense all through our time together in Alex, in the class of 1979. She was one half of a great comic duo (with Rose Henderson) who entertained us over the years. RIP
