We were very sad to learn of our dear Aunt Brigid’s passing. She was a lovely, warm, funny, very smart, principled lady. Our times visiting her and Uncle Victor in Galway were an absolute treat. We were thoroughly spoiled by the beautiful landscapes combined with Brigid and Victor’s impossibly vast historical and archeological knowledge. Reseeing Kylemore Abbey, then visiting Cong, Cong Abbey, and an ancient burial ground all in a day seemed like a dream. All while learning of the differences between Romanesque and Gothic arches, no less. It is indeed very, very sad to think we will not see such a fine lady again. BUNYAN, Aileen

Sincere sympathy to all the Bunyan family on the sad passing of Aileen. Although not a sports person, by her own admission, she threw herself behind every hockey team in the school regardless of rank, she came to every match and after party whether we won or lost and her encouragement led to great success over the years. Thank you Aileen, May you rest in peace. Margaret McGoldrick. Former hockey coach.
