WHEELER Maureen (née McMahon) (Blackrock and Nebraska, USA). Maureen's Months Mind was held on November 18. Her sister Lily and all the family would like to sincerely thank all those who attended her funeral, sent Mass cards or messages of sympathy. We are deeply grateful for the assistance she received from her careers, neighbours, Eucharist ministers and friends over the last ten years. Particular thanks to Dr. Redmond and his staff and the Palliative care team in Blackrock whose care added greatly to Maureen's comfort in her final days. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.

Des and Maureen were close friends of my parents when I was growing up in Lincoln Nebraska. They were like family. They were kind and honest in troubled times, and lots of fun in normal times. I miss them.
