KINGWELL, June (née Hepburn) (formerly of Drogheda) - July 25th 2023. It is with great sadness we announce the loss of our beloved June, who died peacefully on the Island of Guernsey. Sadly missed by her husband Hugh, daughter Sarah, sons Justin and Jason, grandchildren Sophie, Jamie, Lucy, Luke, brother David, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Kim and V, sister-in-law Margaret. Funeral Service in St Peter’s Church of Ireland, Peter St, Drogheda at 11.30am on Friday August 25th. Burial immediately afterwards in St Mary’s Churchyard, Mary St, Drogheda. Family flowers only.

MOLLOY, Dermott J. (Late of Stepaside Dublin and Roscommon Town) - 20th August 2023. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Four Ferns Nursing Home, Foxrock, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Úna and much loved father of Fiona, Will, Catherine, Henry and Eva. Very sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Robert and Shane, Will’s partner Veronica, Henry’s partner Adrieli, grandchildren Úna, Luke, Alice, Grace, Martha and Hannah, his surviving siblings Barry, John and Shena, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Removal on Wednesday afternoon (23rd August) to the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm (which can be viewed at www.churchservices.tv/booterstown), followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium.

WALSH, (Windmill House, Windmill Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth formerly of Cornafean, Cavan and Beaumont, Dublin) - 20th August 2023. Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, in his 89th year surrounded by his loving family. John, predeceased by his wife Kathleen. Sadly missed by his loving family Dervela, Ronan, Ciara and John, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May he Rest in Peace Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock today (Tuesday). Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at 2.30pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church which can be viewed on www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie Burial afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

MORAN, Cathleen née Adams (Greystones Co Wicklow and Sligo) - Cathleen passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday 17th August 2023 surrounded by family and under the wonderful care of the staff of Four Ferns, Foxrock. Predeceased by her loving husband Joe and siblings William, Tony, Dermot and Mariea. Cathleen will be dearly missed and always remembered by her daughter Ann and sons Richard, Conor and Lorcan, daughters-in-law Ger, Ruth and Maeve and son-in-law Paddy, grandchildren Shauna, Oísin, Niamh, Liam, Niall, Marc, Sean, Harry, Mia, Robyn and Sophie, extended family and many friends. May she rest in peace. Cathleen will rest at home tomorrow (Wednesday) 23rd August from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Kilquade on Thursday 24th August for 11.30am funeral Mass. Family flowers only but if desired donations in Cathleen’s memory to her favourite charity Focus Ireland.

KENYON, Gerald (Gerry) in his 96th year - (Dublin and late of Chester) - August 20th, 2023 in the excellent care of the Staff at Connolly Hospital, surrounded by his loving family; beloved husband of Pat and cherished father of Barrie, Clive, Simon, Mark, Jonny and the late Sarah. He will be greatly missed by many, particularly his daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece, other relatives, neighbours and friends. A Celebration of Gerry’s life will take place on Thursday (August 24th) at 2.30pm in Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel, followed by Cremation. No flowers, please, donations in lieu if desired to a charity of your choice.

KEATING, John (Dalkey, Co. Dublin) - August 17, 2023. Suddenly, but peacefully. Multi-award winning artist, but most importantly dearly beloved husband of Miriam and devoted Dad to Rebecca and Ruth. He will be very sadly missed by his wife, daughters, their partners Matthew and Alex, his sisters Monica, Anne and Mary, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends in Ireland and Italy. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday August 23) at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. MacMULLAN, Stuart unexpectedly and peacefully passed away. He will be sadly missed by his father Dermot, brothers and sisters, Paul, Sarah, Philip, and Maria, their partners Alison, John, and Rachel and his 4 loving nephews Luke, Thomas, Michael, and godson Charlie, John’s daughter Katya and beloved pet Taylor. Predeceased by his loving mother Mary. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and large treasured circle of friends. Stuart will be reposing today (Tuesday) 22nd August from 5 pm to 7pm (the family will be in attendance) at Fanagan’s Funeral Home, Willbrook Rathfarnham. Removal on Wednesday morning from the Funeral Home to Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham arriving for 10 am Mass, followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery.
