This April brought a new ray of sunshine into our family after Cliodhna and Gavin welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Orla. It's a name that carries your spirit into the next generation, a tribute to the love and legacy you left behind. In little Orla 'Beag's' radiant smiles, in the warmth of our Batt &amp; Byrne family gatherings, and in the love that grows stronger with each passing day, your presence is felt and spoken about. Though we miss you deeply, we take comfort and immense pride in the beautiful legacy you've given us. With Love, Pete, Roisin, Cliodhna, Gavin and Orla 'Beag'.</p>

<p><span>BATT Orla, (First Anniversary): It is not possible to put into words our loss of such a truly remarkable human being. Despite all the notice we had while you battled against MND nothing could have prepared us for a world without you. You were my best friend for forty-one years, my wife for thirty, wonderful mother to our cherished daughters Clíodhna and Róisín, enormously proud daughter of Chris and Eilish, great friends with your siblings Aveen, Garry, Dervla and Neil together with spouses Stephen, Keiko, Brian, Andrea, Gavin and of course all your nieces and nephews. As a Doctor your fellow Professionals continue to mind us, your terrific colleague Linda and best friend Mary miss you dearly, they are wonderful, they have your DNA. Moggy, a hero, who tirelessly helped us day-in-day-out for such a long period. Sheila, so like you and with us to the end. Tom for keeping me strong. Your 'lovely ladies of Ballinlough' are being well looked after by Linda and Deirdre while Alastair and Helen mind Kenya for you. To all the HSC Carers, thank you for being brilliant, you are a true family friend. Your friends from Limerick, Cork, Singapore, Kuwait, Kenya, USA, Northern Ireland, Germany, father and mother-in-law Enda and Betty, neighbours of Clontymon together with Blackrock Hill Walking Club, Moving Mountains, Pilates Performance Physio have been wonderful to us and share our loss. Yes, there is pain and I hope it never stops because it only reminds me of one remarkable woman who we all loved so much. Love, as always, Pete.</span></p>
