MARKS, Patricia Geraldine Joyce (Windgates, Bray, Co. Wicklow) - Was called home peacefully, in her 84th year, on Monday 27th November, 2023, at Wicklow Hospice. She was born in Dublin to the late Maria and Gerrit Mekking on 8th of July 1940. She was the youngest of four sisters. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband and father of her two boys, John Fitzroy Marks and her sister Ineke. Patricia is survived by her sons Garry and Tim, grandchildren Joshua, Robert, Katie (KG) and Alex, her sisters, Wilma, Mieke and daughter-in-law Katherine. Funeral and Committal Service tomorrow (Thursday) at 11.30am in Christ Church, Church Road, Bray. Family Flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Wicklow Hospice.

She was my Godmother but sadly we lost touch after John died and I was unable to trace her sons. I’m sorry to hear of her death via my Aunt Cynthia who spotted it in the Irish Times. Reunited with John, Rest in Peace Pat. Our family Fay, Ken, Ivan and of course me send our love to Pat’s family xxxx
