O'GORMAN, Kevin John (Pops), in his 100th year, (formerly of Trees Avenue, Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin) died August 17, 2023, (peacefully) in the wonderful care and attention of the staff at Kinvara Nursing Home, Bray, Co. Wicklow. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret and will be sadly missed by his children Mel, Jeanne, John, Kevin and Martin. Also by his daughters-in-law Ornagh, Sara, and Noreen and sons-in-law Charlie and Ron. Much adored by his grandchildren Russell, Louise, Ceri, Marc, Áine, Maeve, Aisling, Ali, Lúc, Jack, Trí and Cian and great-grandson Jake. Reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) on Monday evening, August 21, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11.30am at the Church of St. Thérése, Mount Merrion, followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. LAWLESS - Philip David, Belgravia, London, and formerly of Innisfallen Parade, Dublin 7, August 13, 2023, suddenly, but peacefully at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, in the company of his loving wife Rosalie and daughter Samantha. Late of Motcombs Restaurant, Belgravia, London and Bow Wine Vaults Restaurant, Bow Churchyard, London. Philip is predeceased by his first wife Ena and his son Christopher, also his brother Patrick and his sister Maura. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughter Jodi, his step daughters, his sister Angela (Lusk), brothers Eamon (Sydney) and Seán (Skerries), his godson Clive, also his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, his grand-nieces and grand-nephews. His many friends in the Restaurant and Catering trade. Funeral to be held in London, date to be announced.

O'SULLIVAN - Chiquita Mary  - (Thirtieth Anniversary, August 20, 1993) -  Always loved and  remembered; continues to be sadly missed by daughter Joanne, sister Mary and extended family. May you find peace in paradise.

DALY, Dr. Madeleine Kharé, Ballygar, Co. Galway and formerly Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, August 17, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe, her darling son Luke and her adored parents Horace Michael Kharé and Madeleine DeSouza. Survived by her heartbroken children Martin, Michele, Peter, Joanne, Madeleine and Aisling. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Barry, Raymond, Michael and Doran, daughters-in-law Myriam, Olive and Jacquie, her much loved 23 grandchildren and great-grandson, sisters-in-law Deirdre O’Boyle, Miriam McGann and Mary Heskin and her wide and diverse circle of friends, R.I.P. Reposing at her residence this (Saturday) evening from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Removal tomorrow (Sunday) to St. Mary’s Church, Ballygar, for Funeral Mass at 12.30 o’clock followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. FLEMING - Michael (Mike/Mick) (St Joseph’s Rd, Naas/Frederick Ave, Carlow)- August 20, 2022. As we approach Mick’s first anniversary, his family would like to gratefully acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and kindness we received following the sudden loss of our beloved Mick. His wife Ann, daughters Rachel. Laura and Sarah, his son Jack, his siblings Phil, Julie, Madeleine, Paula, and Andy, wish to express our sincere thanks to those who attended the funeral mass and cremation ceremony, to those who called to the house or sent cards and letters of sympathy and those who travelled long distances to be with us. Sincere thanks to the Gardai, fire service, ambulance service and coroner who looked after Mick with great care and dignity following the road accident. Thank you to Fr. Liam Morgan for the moving ceremony, Owen C. Lynch for the beautiful music and Rory Healy (funeral director) for making our final farewell to Mick so special. We greatly appreciate the kindness and generosity shown from the many donations to Mick’s cycle fund for Multiple Myeloma Ireland. Finally, a heartfelt thanks to our neighbours, friends, relations and Mick’s colleagues for their support and kindness following Mick’s death and throughout this past year.

JACKSON - Thomas, August 11, 2023 (Middlebury, Vermont and formerly of Killiney, Dublin), died

peacefully surrounded by his devoted family. Beloved husband of Melissa, loving father of Luke

and Thea. Survived by his loving family including his mother Margaret, siblings Heidi, Charles,

and Abhayavaca, and his cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. He was

predeceased by his father Tom. Also remembered by his wide circle of dear friends and

colleagues. A memorial will take place in Middlebury, VT on August 26, 2023, and a celebration

of his life will be held at a later date in Dublin

FitzGerald - Patricia (Pat) (nee Duffy) On Pat’s imminent First Anniversary August 25, 2023,  Alex, Con and Laura along with Pat’s sister Lucie, six grandchildren and extended family, would like to express their heartfelt appreciation and thanks to everyone for their empathy, kindness and support throughout the past year. We thank those who attended the funeral home and Funeral Mass. We are most grateful for those who sent Mass Cards, letters of condolences, online condolences, shared their memories and affection for Pat - they meant so much to us. We are deeply appreciative to the Very Reverend Tom Dooley, who celebrated the Mass, his co-celebrant Monsignor Ciarán O’Carroll and the Sacred Heart Church Donnybrook for fulfilling Mum’s final wish. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, this acknowledgement is a token of our deepest appreciation.
