CAREY, Robert (Drumcondra and formerly the North Strand, Dublin) - Long time civil servant at the Department of Finance and the World Bank. Suddenly, yet peacefully, at home on November 23rd 2023. Beloved husband of Mary, adored and hilarious Dad of Lisa, Anna, Jennifer and Rachel and loving granddad of Arlo, Eli, Stanley, Frank and Saul. Loved and missed by his sons-in-law Brian, Patrick, Sean and Aaron, his brother Tom, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, good friends, neighbours and former colleagues. Reposing at his residence on (Tuesday) evening, November 28th, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning, November 29th, to Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall, Dublin 9, arriving for 10.30am Funeral Mass, followed immediately by a cremation service in Dardistown Crematorium Chapel.
