George’s wife Mary and his sons Mark and Charles, wish to thank all those who attended at the house, were present at the funeral Mass, cremation ceremony or month’s mind.

We were very appreciative of the many Mass cards, letters and other forms of condolences sent to us from all over the globe.

Special thanks also to friends who have supported us this past year.

O'DONOGHUE, (Bishopstown and Laburnum Park, Cork) - On November 7th 2023, peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Bon Secours Hospital, Deirdre (née McKeon), beloved wife of Patrick and loving mother of Eoin, Larry, Meadhbh and Patrick, dear sister of Aileen and Michael. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers-in-law Paul, Tim, Dan and Paul, sisters-in-law Clare, Lynn, Myra and Christeen, daughter-in-law Laura, Larry’s partner Fiona, grandchildren Charlie, Noah, Nate, Conor, nephews, nieces, relatives and dear friends. Reposing in the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Thursday (November 9th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. Requiem Mass at 3.00pm on Friday (November 10th) in the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen Road. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. CORRELL, Dorothy (née Dobson) (late of Drumcondra and Finglas) – November 7, 2023, peacefully, in her 94th year, in the kind-hearted care of Greystones Nursing Home. Wife of the late John, predeceased by her loving sisters Gladys, Muriel and Hilda and her niece Elizabeth. Sadly missed by her nephews Alan and David Bowden, Carmel, grandnieces, relatives and friends. Funeral Service on Friday (Nov.10) at 11.00am, in Sutton Methodist Church, Howth Road, Dublin 13, D13HX66, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton. “Safe in the Arms of Jesus”

NOLAN, Theresa (New Bride Street, Dublin 8, and late of Kiluppan, Ahascragh, Co. Galway) - November 3, 2023, unexpectedly at home. Dearly missed by her brother Michael, sister Bridie, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends and neighbours. Pre-deceased by her brother Gerard and her sisters Julie and Ita. Rest in peace. Removal on Friday morning (10th November, 2023), to Whitefriar St. Church, Dublin 2, arriving for 10 o’c Mass, to Ahascragh Cemetery, Ballinasloe, arriving at 3 p.m. (approx.)

McGEE, Dorothy, (nee Ogle) (Eleighwater, Carlanstown, Finea, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Dysart House, Delvin, Co. Westmeath) - Died peacefully after a short illness at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar on 6th November, 2023, in her 65th year. Predeceased by her husband James, parents Nicholas and Mary, and her sister Joanna. Loving mum of Robbie and Katy. Sadly missed by her son, daughter, brother Robert, sisters Bridget, Elizabeth and Frances, her adored grandchildren Arwen and Joni, Robbie's partner Catherine and Katy's husband Tom, sister-in-law Anne, brothers-in-law John Hunter and Bob Reid, nephews and nieces Soren, Maja, Douglas, Susie, Douglas, Julia and Henry, extended family, neighbours and her many friends. Rachel Beatrix, (née Hannon) (Dulwich, London, formerly of Rathgar, Dublin) -Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at home, following a long illness bravely borne. Beloved daughter of the late Henry (Harry) and Margaret (Peggy) Hannon. Deeply missed by her loving husband Nigel, son Max, extended family, many friends and former colleagues. Funeral service on tomorrow (Thursday), November 9, at 12.30pm in St. Stephen’s Church, Dulwich, London SE21 7HW followed by committal at Norwood Crematorium.

CONWAY, The death has occurred of Stephanie Conway 5th November 2023. Peacefully in the dedicated and wonderful care of the staff of Whitebeam, Clonskeagh Nursing Home. She will be sadly missed and long remembered by her sisters Dorothy, Beatrice and Maureen and her best friend Eileen. KENNA, John (Director, CII/IBEC) (Craan Upper, Craanford, Gorey, late of Dalkey, Foxrock and Wexford) - John passed away peacefully on Friday 3rd November 2023, at Wexford General Hospital, following a short illness. Beloved husband of Betty for over sixty one years. Adored dad to Mark, Ruth, Niall and Amy. The best grandad (Pop) in the world to Karina, Mark Jnr, Christopher, Charles, twins John and Victoria, Zara, Nicole, Steven and Alex, and great-grandad to William, twins Luke and Saoirse and baby Phoebe in Perth Australia. Also loved by his children’s partners Eoghan, Denise and Cliona. May his beautiful soul Rest in Peace. Funeral Mass today (Tuesday) at 2.00pm in St. Patrick's Church Monaseed (Y25DF24), followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
