McNALLY - Bernie, Bernadette, (nee O'Grady) late of Kilmacud and Mount Merrion died (November 7, 2022). 

On the first anniversary of Bernie's passing, we the family, Stephen, Nicola, Nick and Molly, Sam and Emily would like to express our sincere gratitude to all family and friends who supported us during Bernie's illness and around the time of her passing. To all who sent condolences and letters of sympathy and all those who attended and participated at her celebration of life, thank you, it means a lot to us.

Our special thanks to Dr Paddy Feeney, Dr Janice Walsh and team in St Vincent's Hospital, the Blackrock Hospice home care team, Pat and Catriona at Fanagans and Shay Byrne. 

GALLAGHER, Joe (Ballinteer, Dublin) - November 5, 2023, peacefully in the loving care of all the staff and consultants in the Cedar Ward at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife Kathleen, sons Mark and Brian, Brian’s partner Helen, baby grandson Jesse Joseph. Very deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers Brendan, Frank, Michael and Raymond, sisters-in-law Annie, Kate, Marese and Joy, nieces, especially Susan, nephews, relatives and many friends especially at St. Mary’s College RFC. May he rest in peace. BURKE, Brendan - 5th November 2023, (Malahide, Co. Dublin and late of E.S.B), (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family at his home. Beloved husband of Maura and loving father of Kevin, Garrett and Caitríona. Very sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughter, daughters-in-law Bernice and Jennifer, grandchildren Luke, Ciara, Thomas and Benjamin, brothers Liam and Frank, Sister Lucille, nieces and nephews. Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Strand Road, Portmarnock tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon 8th November from 4pm to 5:30pm. Removal this Thursday morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Yellow Walls Road, Seabury, Malahide, arriving for requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery (Extension). DODD, Fr. Michael (Columban Fathers) (Liscahill, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford; Korea, USA and Dalgan Park, Navan) - November 5th 2023 peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Columban's Retirement Home, Navan. Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Delia, brother Alfie. Very deeply regretted by his sister May, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, Columban family and friends. R.I.P Removal and Evening Prayer today (Monday) at 7pm in St.Columban's, Dalgan Park. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11am, followed by burial in the Community Cemetery. FORDE, Anthony (Tony) (Beechpark Lawn, Castleknock, Dublin 15) - November 3rd 2023, peacefully, at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of the late Mary and dear father of Michael, Suzanne and Ronan. Sadly missed by his loving daughter, sons, grandchildren Zach and Amelia, Michael and Ronan’s partners Alison and Deirdre, brother Colum, sisters Josephine and Brenda, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Church Avenue, Blanchardstown this (Monday) evening from 6pm until 8pm. A Civil Funeral Service to celebrate Tony’s life will be held in Dardistown Crematorium tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon at 2.30pm. No flowers, please. DEVLIN, Paul (Foxrock, Dublin 18 and former Dentist, Annesley Bridge Road, Fairview and past president of UCD Rugby Club) - 3rd November 2023 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rolive. He will be deeply missed by his children David, Gillian, Susan and Donal, his six grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, extended family, amazing friends and neighbours. Reposing at his residence tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. PURCELL, Paddy (Rathfarnham) - 2nd November 2023. Peacefully in the company of his loving family while in the tender care of the doctors and nurses at Tallaght University Hospital. Forever loved and remembered by his wife Terri, daughter Saoirse, son-in-law Mick, his brother John, sister Anne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends. Paddy was predeceased by his brother Dick. The family wish to thank the staff of Kiltipper Woods Care Centre, for the excellent care provided to Paddy, as he bore his long illness with characteristic humour. Especially the carers who were his friends and gave him wonderful support, care, and plenty of laughs. Paddy will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham (D14 WO29) today (Monday) 6th November from 3 pm to 5 pm. Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar at 12:00 pm tomorrow (Tuesday) 7th November, followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. GARDINER, Brenda (née O’Gorman) (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly Ballypatrick, Co. Tipperary) November 2, 2023. Peacefully, in the loving care of her family and the Wicklow Hospice. Beloved wife of Jack and cherished Mum to Martina, Ed, John, Bob and Cathy. Sister to the late Matt, Mary, Tom, John and Denis, nana to the late Darragh. Sadly missed by her brothers Dick and Martin, sister Joan, daughters-in-law Bern, Catriona and Róisin, sons-in-law Kevin Flynn and John Feeley and her adored grandchildren, extended O’Gorman and Gardiner families and all her wonderful friends. Funeral Mass today (Monday) at 10am in St. Brigid’s Church, Cabinteely followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
