SWEENEY, (née Mulligan) Rita, (Stillorgan and Dalkey) January 18, 2024. Peacefully after a brief illness and surrounded by family at St. John’s House, Merrion Road, Dublin 4. Beloved wife of the late Patrick; much loved mother to David, Paul, Roseanne and Niall and sister to late Betty. Rita will also be remembered with love by her daughters-in-law Uyen and Nadia, cherished grandchildren Oliver, Chloe, Aidan, Elin, Yannik and Lia, friends and neighbours. Rita will be reposing this (Monday) afternoon from 3.30pm to 4.30pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28). Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
