GRIFFIN - Dr. Desmond (Des)  84, born in Kilkenny, passed away on July 21, 2023 in Vancouver, Canada. Des is predeceased by his mother Gertrude and father Rowland, his wife Joan, his sister Marie Henderson and his brother Gerald Griffin. He is survived by his two sisters Joan Norris and Ann White, his children Alexi and Des/Ted and grandsons Dryden, Ronin and Griffin. There will be a celebration of life for Desmond and also celebrating his brother Gerald Griffin at the Mount Juliet Estate in the Chauffer’s Lodge, in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland on Saturday 
November 11th, 2023 from 2:30-4:30pm. Friends of the family are welcome to visit during these times. They request in lieu of flowers to share a photo and /or memory about Des at: https://www.weremember.

MacGOEY - The families of Emily MacGoey (née Reynolds) of Bunratty, Co. Clare and formerly Mullagh, Rooskey, Co. Roscommon wish to thank all those who expressed their condolences for our loss. It was most comforting in our grieving for Emily. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. O'BRIEN - Colm (Stride) B.E. of Clieveragh Park, Listowel and formerly Kilgarvin, Co. Kerry and Clontarf, Dublin, died peacefully, in the wonderful care of Listowel Community Hospital, on November 8, 2023, beloved husband of Anne (Burke), dearest father of David, John, Fergus, Ciarán, Daragh, Fiachra and Ruairí and brother of Helen and the late Anne and Veronica. Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Greenville, Listowel on today (Thursday) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Listowel on Friday at 11.15am where the Requiem Mass for Colm will be celebrated at 11.30am (streamed on www.listowelparish.com). Interment afterwards in St. John Paul II Cemetery, Listowel.

Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Listowel Community Hospital, or care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Greenville, Listowel.

MURRAY - Nancy (née Clear) (Tallaght, Dublin and late of Parteen, Co. Clare) - On November 7, 2023 (peacefully). Nancy, dearly beloved wife of the late Vivian. So very sadly missed by her children, Mary, Anne, Dermot, Bernie, John and Madeleine and their partners, her ten treasured grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also sadly missed by her brother Brendan and his wife Anne as well as her many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by her brothers Paddy and Denis and her sister Mary. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Tallaght Village on tomorrow (Friday) from 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday to St. Mary’s Priory, Tallaght Village arriving for 11am Funeral Mass and afterwards to Newlands Cross Cemetery. COGHLAN, Brendan died in Wexford on September 14, 2023, in his 100th year. Pre-deceased by his first wife Freda. He is sadly missed by his second wife Frances and all his extended family and friends in both Ireland and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Brendan’s ashes will leave the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand at 11.45am on Saturday (November 11) to St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton to be buried with his family at 12.30pm. Rest in Peace
