HESS, (Middletown House, Nursing Home, Ardamine, Co. Wexford (formerly of Howth, Co. Dublin and Coolboy, Co. Wicklow) - Eithne, departed this life on January 21, 2024 in the compassionate care of the staff at Wexford General Hospital. Pre-deceased by her husband Charles, daughter Brenda, brother Kevin and sister Brenda. She will be fondly remembered by her many friends, especially Sally Ryan and the staff of Middletown Nursing Home. A Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Eithne will take place today (Wednesday) in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church Riverchapel at 3.30 p.m. followed by Private Cremation. Family Flowers only please. Donations if desired to The National Council for the Blind.
