LITTLE - Leonard (Blackrock and late of Dundrum and Rathgar) 29th April 2026. In the care of the amazing and kind staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, following a stay under the care of the wonderful team in St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Yvonne. He will be deeply missed by his family. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum this (Friday) afternoon from 5pm to 7pm. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) morning to the Church of The Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by committal prayers at 12.15 in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.

Charlie (Glenageary, Co. Dublin) 25th April 2026. He died doing what he loved, sailing. Profoundly missed by his beloved son, Leo and all the family.

MOONEY - Monsignor Míceál Patrick passed away peacefully on 10th April in the care of the staff of the Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola Florida and was lovingly surrounded by his close friends. Predeceased by his parents, Bridget and Michael and his two sisters, Bernadette and Dorothy. Deeply regretted by his nephew, Fintan and his wife Helen, niece, Ciara and her husband Stephen, grandnieces and grandnephews, Sadhbh, Méabh, Cathal, Seán and Niall.

Born in Dublin on the 4th March 1937, Msgr Mooney was ordained into the priesthood in June 1963 at St. Partick’s College Seminary, Carlow and moved to the USA where he served in the Diocese of Pensacola, Tallahassee, Archdiocese of Mobile and the Diocese of St Augustine. Msgr Mooney will be warmly remembered by his friends and parishioners in the parishes and dioceses in which he served.

May he rest in peace. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 5th May at 10 o’clock in the Church of St Vincent De Paul, Griffith Avenue, Marino, Dublin 9, with burial afterwards in Dardistown Cemetery.

GALLAGHER - Colm - 28th April 2026. Peacefully at CareChoice, Malahide Road. Portmarnock, formerly of Whitehall, Dublin and many childhood summers in Gweedore, Donegal. Beloved husband of 51 years of Eithne, much loved father to Caoilfhionn and Elle and brother of the late Seán Gallagher. Colm will be hugely missed by his family including his grandchildren Síomha, Oisín and Daithí, his son-in-law Tom, his sisters-in-law Noelle, Ann and Josephine, brother-in-law Dónal, their spouses Paddy, Inge and Michael and his late brother-in-law Brian’s wife, Barbara, his Gallagher nieces and nephews, Niamh, John, Hugh, Aifric and their families, all his in-laws, nieces and nephews in the Coyle and Fitzmaurice families, his Gillanders and McGuinness cousins, his extended family, wonderful neighbours, his former colleagues at the Department of Public Service and the Department of Finance, his friends from UCD, numismatic circles and beyond. The family expresses their deep appreciation to all those who cared for Colm in recent years at CareChoice and Beaumont Hospital. Family flowers only please. On Saturday 2nd of May from 2.30 - 5.30pm there will be a celebration of Colm's life at MOLI (Museum of Literature Ireland) , 86 St Stephen's Green , Dublin 2. (Dress code for Saturday is no black at family request)

FAULKNER - Paula, 28th April 2026 – Killiney (formerly of Dalkey Co. Dublin). Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Fern Dean, Stepaside. Beloved and devoted mother of Petra, Richie and Amy, and cherished Granny of Emma, Alex, Bea, Adam and Osh. Treasured sister of Francine, Johnny and Marie Therese. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her heartbroken family, including her sons-in-law Tomas and Ben, her nieces and nephews, extended family and her many wonderful friends.
