CAREW, Michael (Booterstown, Co. Dublin) 29th April 2025. Peacefully, in the tender care of all the staff at the Blackrock Hospice and previously in the Cara Ward, SVPH, after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his parents Lt. Col. Ross Carew and Delia Curley. Much loved husband and best friend of Anne (Coyne) and devoted Dad of Ross and Alan. Proud father-in-law of Melisa and doting Papa of Finn and Erik. Michael will be very sadly missed by his wife, sons, grandchildren, sister Marie, brother Ross, mother-in-law Loretta Coyne, sisters-in-law Sheila Hanley, Mary Coolen, Eileen Boyce, Una Cronin, and Katie Kent, brothers-in-law John, Gerard and Martin Coyne, nieces, nephews, cousins, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, life-long friends Michael Cantrell, Michael Hennessy and Gary Coogan, neighbours and his many friends in Elm Park Golf Club. Removal to Church of the Assumption Booterstown on Tuesday (6th May) arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (7th May) at 11am followed thereafter by private cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only. Online donations if desired, in Michael’s name, to Our Ladies Hospice, Blackrock. Rest in Peace

O'DRISCOLL, Dermot, Tullow Rd, Carlow and formerly of Carrick-on-Suir, Co Tipperay, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on April 30th 2025, at his home. Beloved husband of Pat, much loved father of Brian, Niamh, Fiona and Emer and adored grandfather of Molly, Finn, Anna, Doug, Alex, Johnnie, Brian, Anna, Sarah, Ellie, Keelin and Charlie. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Joe, Chris and Aidan, daughter-in-law Ellie, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Carlow, (Eircode R93 E863) on Friday (May 2nd) from 5pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am to the Church of the Holy Family, Askea to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by a private cremation. Rest In Peace

FURLONG, (nee Molloy) Clodagh (Mount Prospect Avenue, Clontarf, Dublin) -May 3rd 2020 (peacefully) in the Mater Hospital following a short illness. She is now with her beloved husband of 55 years David, her sister Breda and brother Brian, her auntie May and her parents Bill and Rita, all of whom have gone before her. A much loved mother and sadly missed by her daughter Jennifer, sons Paul, Stephen, Andrew, Justin and Jonathan, daughters-in-law Branka and Marianne, Stephen’s fiancée Maeve, Jennifer's partner Paul, grandchildren Cara, Alexander, Kristina, Nathan, Christian, Marijela and Luka, sisters-in-law Helga and Fionnuala, niece Heidi and nephews Chris and Emmet. The family would like to thank the wonderful medical team of the Mater Hospital and all the staff of Highfield Healthcare. Clodagh's funeral will take place privately for immediate family. A celebration of Clodagh’s life for friends and extended family will take place at a later date. MOORHEAD, (née Hughes) Patricia (Rathfarnham and formerly of Kenilworth Square, Rathgar, Dublin) - April 30, 2022, member of Accredited Genealogists of Ireland (A.G.I.) in her 85th year, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Gabriel’s Ward at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved and loving wife for fifty years of the late Peter W. Moorhead (who died November 24, 2011), loving and dearest mother of Cari, Susan and Peter, much loved Grannie of Lara and Ellen Moorhead. Very deeply regretted by her daughters-in-law Karina and Charlene, sister Audrey McGarry, sister-in-law Jean Moorhead, brother-in-law Michael Moorhead and his wife Heather. Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, their families and her many neighbours and life-long friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lr. Kimmage Road tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon (3rd May) from 4 pm until 6 pm.
