LYDON, Deirdre

LYDON, (née Hegarty), Deirdre (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin and late of Moylough, Co. Galway and London), 29th June 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of Blackrock Hospice, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Patrick and darling mother of Geraldine, Adèle, Paula, Fiona, and the late Michael. Very sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Peter, António, Richard, and Andrew, her adored grandchildren Robin, Hugh, Jenny, Michael, Daniel, and Eoin, great-grandchildren Poppy, Dylan, River, Jasper, Mara, and Violet, relatives, friends, neighbours and wonderful carers. Predeceased by her brothers Maurice (Muiris) and Terence, and sister June. Reposing at her home on Monday evening (6th July) from 5 pm to 7 pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (7th July) to the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
