HARVEY, Neil (Cabinteely, Dublin 18) passed peacefully surrounded by family on 24th July 2025 in the wonderful care of the staff at the Beacon Hospital. Neil will be deeply missed by his loving wife Orla, son Hugh, daughter Gemma, his mother Valerie, brothers David, Brian and Gerry, sisters-in-law Siobhan and Maridel, Gemma’s partner Alan, brothers-in-law Mark, John and Ross, his nine wonderful nephews, as well as his many dear friends, near and far, and others whose lives he touched. Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, 29th July) at 11.00am in Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue followed by Cremation at Newlands Cross. Family flowers only please.

O'TUAMA, (née Whelan) Winifred, late of The Four Ferns, The Mageough and Merton Road Rathmines, Dublin, 25th July 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at The Four Ferns Nursing Home Foxrock. Dearly loved mother of Cliona, Barry, Fergus, Brian and Barbara. Predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Fearghus, and her siblings John, Cora, Gay and Ann. She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren Brian, Andrew, David, Kevin, Gray and Rachel, her daughter-in-law Maeve, sons-in-law Kevin and Dave, her brother Hugh (Liverpool), extended family, neighbours and many friends. Removal on Tuesday morning (29th July) to the Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Avenue arriving at 10.50 am for Funeral Mass at 11.00 am followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harolds Cross. DONNELLY, Captain E. Kevin Master Mariner, MIIMM, FNI, FCILT, Retired Harbour Master: Limerick/Shannon Estuary. Limerick City and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow. At the great age of 95, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the patient and gentle care of the staff of Ennis hospital on Wednesday 23rd July. Devoted husband of the late Mary (neé McDonnell). Lovingly remembered by his children; Eamon, Brian, Níall, Barry, Ailbhe, Orla, and Shane. Their spouses Christina, Protima, Laurence, Laura, and Frederikke. Grandchildren Aisling, Sorcha, Barry, Kealan, Fionn, Lulu, Frida, and Patrick, and great-grandchildren Mary and Paddy. Fondly remembered by his nephews, sister-in-law Rhoda and brother-in-law Johnny, extended family, friends, neighbours, and carers. FALLON, Sr. Mary, (Religious Sisters of Charity, Ard Mhuire, Dublin) July 24th, 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Beechlawn Nursing Home, Grace Park Road, Drumcondra. Predeceased by her parents Gertrude and James, her brothers Tony, Dick and Gerard, her sister-in-law Pat and her nephew David. Kildare (formerly Galway and Arigna) has passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Brigid’s Hospice and surrounded by her adoring family. She is survived by her heartbroken wife Elizabeth Kirwan, sisters Mia and Sheila, brother Michael, brothers-in-law Aidan Gleeson & Stephen McLoughlin, niece Eva and nephews Ewan, Finn and Cormac. Predeceased by her parents Miceál and Mary Layden of Arigna, Co. Roscommon. Anita will repose at her home at Rose Lodge, Church Road, Athy, Co. Kildare, R14DX09 tomorrow Sunday the 27th of July, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm. MacMANUS - The death has occurred of Dr. Desmond MacManus of Grove House, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim and formerly of Gartylough, Arva, Co Cavan.

July 24, 2025, peacefully at North West Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife Philomena. Desmond will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Liz, John, Maeve and Dervla, daughter-in-law Maria, sons-in-law Fred, Conor and Denis, brother in law Fergus, sisters in law, adoring grandchildren Cathal Óg, Aisling, Eoin, Garrett, Eabha, Ríona, Gavin, Desmond, Aoife, Conall, Tom and Maebh, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Reposing at Our Lady's Hospital Chapel, Manorhamilton on tomorrow (Sunday) evening from 5pm to 8pm. Removal from his family home on Monday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon in St Clare's Church, Manorhamilton followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

McPOLAND - The death has occurred of John (formerly of Naas and Belfast), on July 19, 2025. John, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, with his family present, while in the care of the staff at Watford General Hospital. John remains forever in the hearts of his loving wife Jules, son James, brothers and sisters Brenda, Tony, Paddy and Maureen and his late Mum and Dad, Kathleen and Barney. Our John will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Ben, Amy, Izzy, Georgia, Adam and Tilly, his in-laws Aldagh, Phoebe, Aidan and Tim and extended family and friends. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the care, compassion and dignity shown to John by the staff at Watford General Hospital and also for the care received from the team at the Royal Free Hospital since his transplant in 2019, which added years to his life. Johns Funeral will take place in Hemel Hempstead Crematorium, Bedmond Road, Hemel Hempstead, HP3 8LL at 3pm on Monday September 1, 2025. A Celebration of Life will also be held in Dublin on Friday October 17, 2025. Donations, if desired, to Royal Free Hospital, a charity very close to John.
