PLUNKETT sadly and unexpectedly, at her home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Nóirín Patricia, eldest child of Bernie O'Callaghan and Patrick Plunkett of Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin. To the inexpressible grief of her parents and of her siblings, Eoin and Rosie, and of all her extended family and a World Wide Web of friends, who knew her affectionately as "Nerdchic", or "the girl with the purple hair". Nóirín has always been a free spirit; her family is comforted by the knowledge that her spirit has now truly been set free. Funeral will take place in Massachusetts, her chosen home. A Memorial Service will be held in Dublin at a later date. No flowers please - donations if desired to Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology. http://anitaborg.org/donate/
