LAYDEN, Anita, Rose Lodge, Church Road, Athy, Co. Kildare (formerly Galway and Arigna) has passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Brigid’s Hospice and surrounded by her adoring family. She is survived by her heartbroken wife Elizabeth Kirwan, sisters Mia and Sheila, brother Michael, brothers-in-law Aidan Gleeson & Stephen McLoughlin, niece Eva and nephews Ewan, Finn and Cormac. Predeceased by her parents Miceál and Mary Layden of Arigna, Co. Roscommon. Anita will repose at her home at Rose Lodge, Church Road, Athy, Co. Kildare, R14DX09 tomorrow Sunday the 27th of July, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday 28th of July in St. Michael’s Parish Church , Athy at 2pm, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie. Anita requested that people wear celebratory clothing. Cremation on Tuesday the 29th of July at 12:30pm in Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family Flowers only, please.
