Hilda (née Tierney) Dun Laoghaire 13th November 2025

Peacefully (after a long illness) in the compassionate care of the Sisters & staff of Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey. Beloved wife of the late John. She is deeply regretted by her loving children, Martin, Rory, Aisling & Killian, brother John and sister Mary, grandchildren, Amy, Conor, William, Tom, Evie, Conor, Molly, Ella, Rosie, Keith & Katie, great- granddaughters Jess, Kate & Laura, son in law Rory Bowman, and daughters in law Triona, Sarah, & Maureen, brother in law Barry & sisters in law Fidelma & Valerie along with a wide circle of nephews, nieces and many loving friends. Remembering also her late brother Fr. Martin & sister Clare.

May she rest in peace.

Neiland - (née Lalor) Una, peacefully, on November 14, 2025, surrounded by her heartbroken family. In the excellent care of the staff in St. Monica’s Ward, SVUH. Deeply loved wife of John for 67 years. Dearly loved by her son Dara and daughter Brona. Sadly missed by daughter-in-law Heather, son-in-law Peter and grandsons Luke and Matthew, extended family, wide circle of friends and neighbours. Reposing Monday (November 17) in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4pm to 6pm. Removal Tuesday (November 18) to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey arriving for 10am Funeral Mass which can be viewed online at http://www.churchservices.tv/dalkey followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

CURRAN - John, Emeritus Associate Professor College of Dentistry, University of Manitoba, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, in Winnipeg. Formerly of Warrenpoint, Co. Down, Clongowes Wood College and UCD. Beloved husband of Judith, loving father of daughters Aisling, Anne and Veronica (deceased) and sons Mark and Garrett. Deeply missed by his brother Dermot, daughters-in-law Julianne and Alison, son-in-law Chris, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and wider family and friends. DOYLE - (née Geraghty), Deirdre, Alberta, Canada, formerly of Taylor’s Hill, Galway. November 11, 2025, peacefully in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr James Doyle. Deeply missed by her children Eoin, Fionnuala, Siona, grandchildren Athena and Carsten, daughter-in-law Shannon, son- in- law Francis, relatives and friends in Canada and Ireland. Predeceased by her sister Eithne (Lee). Funeral will be held at St Catherine’s Church, Picture Butte, on Monday, November 17, 2025.

O'SULLIVAN - Iris (née Colhoun), Sandy Lane, Blackrock, Co. Louth and formerly of Malin Village, Co. Donegal. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday November 14, 2025. Iris much loved wife and best friend of the late Tony, cherished mother of Tara Shirley and Nicola Golden, granny of Ben, Chloe, Lucy, Alex and Andrew, mother-in-law of Jonathan and the late Tony,

sister of Linda, Wendy, Canon Doris, Derek, Nigel and the late Norma and Ivan. Iris will be sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters, grand-children, son-in-law, sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Iris will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street (A91 XW66) from 2pm until 5pm on Saturday. Removal on Sunday afternoon via her home, to St Pauls Church Heynestown (A91 TP21) arriving for Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining Churchyard. Iriss family would like to thank her carers, for their exceptional care and kindness they showed to Iris during her illness. KINANE - George (Donnybrook and Tipperary). On his First Anniversary November 13, 2024, we remember with much love, our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Deeply missed every day, we remember his smile, his sense of fun, his quick wit and his kindness. We want to acknowledge the over-whelming support that we have received over the past difficult year: the letters, cards, messages, calls and many, many gestures of kindness. It is much appreciated by all of us. Special thanks to all who travelled from Tipperary and beyond, to the members of Elm Park Golf and Sports Club who turned up in such huge numbers and to those who continue to provide valued friendship. MORAN - Dr Peter (Carrickmacross Co Monaghan and late of Toronto Canada), died peacefully on November 1, 2025 after a long illness. Beloved son of the late Martin and Dr Aileen Moran. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Sinead, Ciara and Niamh, his partner Joanne, his brothers Andrew and Patrick, all his relatives and friends.
