CLANCY - Ian (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) January 12, 2020. This past year has been difficult for so many, however we were fortunate to experience the great comfort and support of the Irish way of death. On the occasion of Ian's first anniversary, his family would like to thank all those who sympathised with us in our great loss and who attended the services for Ian, especially those who travelled long distances to so do. Thanks also to the many relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues who sent cards and letters and whose thoughtfulness and practical help supported us at this sad time. Particular thanks go to the members of Ian's beloved Waterford F.C. and to Mount Merrion Youths F.C. We are grateful to three of Ian's great friends who, together with our boys, carried him on his final journey from the church. We would also like to thank Fr Gerry Kane PP, Booterstown and Fr. Tom Nash CSSp who celebrated the Mass. A special thanks to those who donated to the Oesophageal Cancer Fund.
'But since it fell into my lot
That I should rise
and you should not,
I'll gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all.'
CLANCY - Ian. Fifth Anniversary.
Always remembered by Jill, Caoimhe, Eoin and Hugh with love and laughter. We are so sorry you didn't get to meet your beautiful grandsons, Cillian and OisÃn.
CLANCY - Ian (Second anniversary, January 12, 2020) - You are so loved and so missed by so many. Jill, Caoimhe, Eoin and Hugh.
