KEANE, Emma, (Rathgar, Dublin 6), January 14, 2018, (peacefully), after a long hard-fought illness, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of The Beacon Hospital, adored wife of Peter Kearns, beloved and cherished mother to Jessica, Catherine and Amelia, daughter of Catherine and the late Matt Keane. Forever loved and sadly missed by her sisters and brothers Rachael, Catherine-Anne, Michael, Elizabeth, David and Rebecca, parents-in- law Raymond and Brid Kearns, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing at her mother’s home today (Tuesday) from 4pm to 7pm. House private outside these hours. Removal to the Church of The Three Patrons, Rathgar tomorrow (Wednesday) morning arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery. KEANE, Emma, (Rathgar, Dublin 6), January 14, 2018 - On the First Anniversary of Emma's death, her husband Peter Kearns, daughters Jessica, Catherine and Amelia together with Emma's mother Catherine, her siblings Rachael, Catherine Anne, Michael, Elizabeth, David and Rebecca, the extended families and the Kearns family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with them on their sad loss, to all who attended Emma's funeral and suffered the inclement weather while waiting to pay respects at the repose and to those who had Masses offered and sent cards of sympathy. Particular thanks to Emma's wide circle of loyal and devoted friends who have helped in so many ways. We wish to thank the Doctors and staff at the Beacon Hospital, The NIH, USA, St. Luke's Hospital and St. James's Hospital for all their care and kindness to Emma. Sincere thanks to Fr. Joe Mullen P.P. who celebrated Emma's Mass and to the concelebrants Fr. Conor Harper SJ, Fr. Paul Lavelle, Fr. Tim Flynn and Fr. Tom Russell. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Emma's anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2.00pm in the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar. All welcome.
