McCONNELL, Jan (née Emerson), (Sandyford). January 11, 2023, in the expert, tender and extraordinary care of St Vincent’s Private Hospital, beloved wife for 53 years of Allan; much loved mother of Barry, Diane and Christine; mother-in-law of Tina, Gerard and Alex; adored NanJan of Oisín, Cate, Asia, Antonio and Ben. Loved and remembered always by her heartbroken family, sister Valerie, brothers-in-law David and David, niece Lynne, nephew Keith, the extended family and a wide circle of friends. Memorial Service will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 11.00am in Dundrum Methodist Church following a private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations to SONAS Domestic Abuse and refuge. Please wear bright colours.

McCONNELL - Jan (January 11, 2023) - A year on without Jan, we have gathered to lay her to rest. Jan brought us, and countless friends, so much love, humour and positivity. She was always there when needed with a non-judgemental ear. Jan is much adored and we are heartbroken without her. She, with her enduring smile, will be forever missed by husband and best friend for 60 years, Allan, children Barry, Diane and Christine; sister Valerie; grandchildren Oisín, Cate, Asia, Antonio and Ben; extended family and her very many friends.
