ARMSTRONG, - (née Moorhead), Meriel, Donnybrook, Dublin, in her 93rd year, at St James Hospital, on February 22nd, 2025 peacefully; daughter of the late John and Margaret, and sister of the late Joy, Mirth and Robert. Beloved wife of Victor, loving mother of Petrina, Sandra, John and David, sister of Gladys, mother-in-law of Andrew, Brian, Sue and Tracey, devoted grandmother of Chris, Debbie, Hayley, Sarah, Peter, Claire, Julia, James, Oliver, Lloyd and Finn, great-grandmother of Cillian and Eva, and much missed by a wide circle of friends. Sincere thanks to the staff of the Orwell Nursing Home and St James Hospital for their kind care and support. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at St Thomas' Church, Foster Avenue, Mount Merrion on Friday (28th February) at 12:30pm. No flowers please but donations in lieu to Focus Ireland. FIGGIS, Peter - 21st February 2025 (Templeogue and Formerly Ranelagh). Peter passed away peacefully in the Meath Community Care Unit, Dublin 8. Beloved and cherished husband of Anne and much-loved dad to Daniel, Peter, Jason and Jonathan. Peter will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving wife, children, brothers Walter (predeceased) and George, sister Sunny, his many nieces and nephews, his six grandchildren, his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family and friends. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Village, D6W AC82 (today) Tuesday 25th February between 5pm and 7pm. Removal (tomorrow) Wednesday morning to St. Jude The Apostle Church, Rossmore Road, D6W YH51 to arrive for 10am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation Service in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome. COLLINS, (née Kennedy) Helen (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) February 20, 2025. Peacefully, in her 101st year, with her family by her side in the kind care of the staff at St. Vincents University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Jackie and adored mother of Geraldine (McAlinden), Paula (Hickey), Fr. Michael and the late David. She will be greatly missed by sons-in-law Cormac and Derek, her cherished grandchildren Gail, Andrew, Alix, Stephanie and Christian, great-grandchildren James, Marcus, Benvon, Aifric, Maxime, Jonah and Wren and a wide circle of friends. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) morning in St. Patrick's Church, Monkstown at 11am, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. For those who cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed online using the Church webcam. Sympathy messages for Helen’s family can be left in the condolence section on RIP. House private please. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, sisters-in-law Kitty and Una, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 6 Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4, D04 X446 (opposite UCD Flyover), on Wednesday evening, February 26, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Dearly beloved wife of Francis and adored mother of Giselle. Treasured sister of Irene, Edward, Hugh, Geraldine, Margaret, Martine, Joseph, Sharon and the late Anne and Mary.
