ALLEN -

Dorothy (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Home Farm Road, Drumcondra) 31st of March, 2026. Very peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital surrounded by her children Elaine, Mark and Stephen. She is now finally resting back in the gentle embrace of her beloved mother Deirdre, her father Benen, Granny & Grandpa Allen, Auntie Maeve and Uncle Lawrence, Auntie Áine, and reunited once again with her treasured cat Mimi. She will be deeply missed by her loving children, all the Allen family, extended family, friends, and much loved carers. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, 7th of April, at 11 a.m., in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue, followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu, to Médecins Sans Frontières.

MURPHY - The Death has occurred of Christopher Murphy, Carraigin Castle, Clydagh, Headford, Co. Galway and Leinster Road, Rathmines, Dublin. It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Christopher John Desmond Murphy, 15th March 2026. 1925 – 2026. Deeply missed by his beloved wife Annemarie, children Fiona, Anthony, Robert, Oona, Isabella and Christoph, grandchildren Kitty, Misha, Sasha, Molly, William, Eleanor, Doone, Willow, Minnie, Pearl and Orlando, sons- in- law and daughters- in- law, his brothers -in-law, sister-in- law, Eleven great-grandchildren, as well as nephews, nieces, relatives, many friends and neighbours.

Prayers at Saint Mary’s Church of Ireland, Cong, Co. Mayo on Easter Sunday, 5th April 2026, at 6pm and reposing till 7pm.

SCALLON - Colette - 1st April 2026, late of Mornington, Drogheda, Co Meath and Carrickreagh, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh. Beloved daughter of the late Packie and Moira and sisters Josephine and Carmel (R.I.P). Eldest sister of John (Nessa), Brenda, (Jim, R.I.P) Mark (Carol), Bronagh, Ciara (Ivor). Colette will be dearly missed by all, including her niece Emma, nephews Gavin, Brian, Owen and Oscar, grand-nieces Sophie and Clodagh and grand-nephew Shea. Colette will be reposing at Ballycassidy Funeral Home, 101 Killadeas Road, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh BT94 2ES on Sunday 5th April from 2pm to 5pm. Remains leaving Funeral Home on Sunday evening at 5.15pm arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Irvinestown for 6pm prayers and to repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Monday 6th April at 12 noon with interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving Sisters, brothers and wider family circle.

FRASER - Lady Maggie - passed away, March 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving children Andrew, Katy and Jamie, adored wife of the late Alasdair, she will be greatly missed by her much loved son-in-law Jonny, daughters-in-law Paula and Natalie and her most loved grandchildren Poppy, Olivia, Chloe, Mimi and Hugo. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 9:30am in St. Columba's Parish Church, 29 King's Road, Belfast, BT5 6JG.

Fr Thomas (Tom), OCD, Avila Carmelite Centre, Donnybrook and Headford, Galway. Peacefully on Saturday, March 28 at St Vincent’s University Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family and fellow Discalced Carmelites. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Delia, his brothers John, Fr Paddy, Frank and Michael and sisters-in-law Helena and Margaret. Deeply regretted by his sister Mary (Stephens), brothers Andy, Gabriel and Jimmy, his brother-in-law Joe, sisters-in-law Ina, Carmel, Mary and Johanna, his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, his Discalced Carmelite family and his wide circle of friends in Ireland and Singapore. Reposing at Avila Carmelite Centre, Bloomfield Avenue, Donnybrook, Dublin, D04 YF66 on Wednesday, April 1st from 2.30 pm – 6.00 pm with Mass at 6.00 pm. Reposing at The Carmelite Abbey, Loughrea, Co Galway on Easter Sunday, April 5th from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon on Easter Monday, April 6th, followed by burial at the Abbey Cemetery. May he Rest in Peace. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to ICU, St Vincent’s University Hospital.

CUFFE WALLACE - (Second Anniversary, April 3) - Dear Siobhán, cherished wife, beloved sister, loyal friend and devoted parishioner. A gifted artist and a community leader, whose legacy inspires belief in her Pembroke neighbourhood including the retention of its landmark trees. Her loss is unbearably difficult to accept.
