McGOEY - Thursday, May 21, 2026. Abbeyshrule, Co Longford. Peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, surrounded by her loved ones. In her 92nd year. Ursula beloved daughter of the late Edward and Úna. Predeceased by her brothers Charlie, Teddy and Gabriel. Sadly missed by her loving brothers Ciaran (Carlingford) and John (Banagher), her sisters-in-law Betty, Rita, Mary and Connie, her nephews Edward, John, Peter, Paul and Charles, her nieces Mary, Kathryn, Irene, Therese, Valerie, Jane, Gillian, Úna and Susan, her many grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Ar Dheis Dé Go Raibh A h-Anam Dílis. Ursula will be removed from her home to arrive at Our Lady of Lourdes Church (Abbeyshrule) for her Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 o'clock, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. May the Lord have mercy on her gentle soul. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to The Ciúin Suite, North Westmeath Hospice, Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. House private Monday morning please.

May He support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done.

Then in His mercy may He give us a safe lodging, and a holy rest and peace at last. Amen.
