GILLESPIE - John 21st May 2026, (Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly of 123 Grange Road). Died peacefully, surrounded by kindness and in the loving care of the staff at Kiltipper Woods Care Centre. John will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his cousins, neighbours, friends and former colleagues, by the many students whose lives he touched during his years teaching at St. Marys, Rathmines, and by his friends and fellow members of Toastmasters, where his warmth, wisdom and gift for public speaking were greatly admired. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Funeral Mass will take place at the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, on Wednesday 27th May at 10am, followed by burial in Cruagh Cemetery.
