FLEMING, (neé O’Reilly) Carmel (Mount Merrion) April 3rd 2020, peacefully after a long illness, at Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock. Beloved wife of Anthony (Tony), wonderful and loving mother of Louise and Angus and adored grandmother of Tom. She will be very sadly missed by her triplet sisters Brenda, Loraine and Marie, daughter-in-law Susan, son-in-law Tony and a large gathering of friends and family worldwide. A private family funeral is taking place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When the current circumstances have passed we look forward to a celebration of her life with friends and extended family at a later date. Condolences may be posted on RIP.ie.

O'HANLON - Dr. Rory Mullinary, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Mullaghbane, Co. Armagh, Tuesday March 31, 2026, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his cherished family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Anna Mary (Daisy), sisters Sr. Deirdre O’Hanlon SSL and Dr. Maeve Smyth. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his loving wife Teresa, daughters Fiona and Dearbhla, sons Rory, Ardal, Neale and Shane, sons-in-law Michael and Trevor, daughters-in-law Melanie and Ursula, much-loved grandchildren; Eimear (Christopher), Conor, Ronan, Niamh, Emily, Rebecca, Redmond, Eve, Cormac, Turlough, Donnacha, Fergal and Laura, his great-grandchildren Cara and Eabha, his sister Sr. Fionnuala SSL, his brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, many friends and neighbours. Rory will repose in his home at Mullinary, Carrickmacross, tomorrow Friday 3rd of April and Saturday 4th of April from 2pm until 8pm. House Strictly Private at all other times. Rory’s funeral cortège will leave his home on Easter Sunday 5th April, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253 arriving at 11.50am for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mullaghbane, Co Armagh, BT35 9RA. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Holy Family School, Cootehill via donation box c/o any family member and/or Deery Funeral Directors, Carrickmacross. O'FARRELL, Carmel (Old Park Road, Corbally, Limerick) - On 2nd April 2023. Peacefully after a long illness, bravely borne, in the exceptional care of Dr. Thamir Mahgoub and his team at University Hospital Limerick. Former teacher of History and French, Crescent College and Comprehensive, Limerick. Pre-deceased by her parents Martin and Catherine. Dearly loved sister of Joseph, Jim, Teresa, Martin and Catherine. Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Barbara Martin, Jacinta Doyle and Ailish O’Farrell, brother-in-law Eamonn Griffin and by Jim Dalton. Loving aunt to Sarah, Emma, Mark, Laura, Eoghan, Edward, James and Anna and partners Krish, Katie and Shayari. Sadly missed by her relatives, neighbours and dear friends. May Carmel rest in peace. Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on (Tuesday) 4th April, from 5pm to 6:30pm. Carmel’s funeral cortège will pass the family home (10:40am approx.) on Wednesday 5th April to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street for Requiem Mass at 11am, streamed live.
