NEILAND, Una

To John and Brona and Dara and your family - offering deepest condolences from the O'Neill family at home and in the U.S. I have such fond memories of Una when I was a child in Blackrock and she was one of the neighborhood mothers who took care of all of us. I remember gaggles of kids at the house by the sea and Una effortlessly organizing meals and swims and all sorts of activities - always with a warm smile and infinite patience. It always felt so welcoming to be in her home. She will be greatly missed. Much love to the family.

MORAN, Dr Peter

Deepest condolences to the Moran Family. Our connection to Peter goes back a very long way… as Paul Hanratty ( my husband) and Peter were childhood friends in Carrickmacross. Reconnected in the 1980’s in Toronto, Canada, we spent many family gatherings together with the Moran family over the years. A golfer, an avid horseback rider, a singer… Peter did it all. Always the life of the party and a true gentleman. He will be sadly missed and remembered . Rest In Peace Peter

BURRELL, Walter

- 2011

In memoriam for Walter. I was just feeding a robin in my back garden this morning and thought of Walter. He loved feeding birds, those little visitors who came to him. A giant of a man in God to me. He fed others that came to our shores with wispa bars and the Word of God, hats knitted by an army of women with messages of the Word of God knitted into them. As head of the NI Civil Service Christian Union in Churchill House in Belfast he came to us regularly at lunch times with his amazing slide show and his narration. He always had a Wispa bar to stick in my top pocket as I carried his folding table and slides up to our 10th floor conference. Love him to bits. An example to me of what a Christian should be. I still do youth work in Belfast and he played his part in all. Love and God bless to all his family. One day we will all be together again!
