Dr.Peter Moran was a dear friend and colleague of mine, both in the same period of 4 years completed our residency in Psychiatry at University of Toronto. We were close from that year of 1991 till the last days of his short life. He will be missed greatly and sadly by me and all his family and friends and colleagues. I have written the following poem for him during his grave illness. His memory will be with us for ever. Stay with me And your three Love Birds Till the next Fall And the next Winter and Spring And the next Summer Till your Birthday that I missed this year Till you sing again And we drink till dawn Then I take you And your Love Birds To the Ocean To reach the Horizon To the green and warm Lands On the other side Where the measure is Not wealth but Health And Life ends naturally uninterrupted Uninterrupted by Insults And Greed is a Crime And Life is Peaceful In that Paradise you sing again Free of pain and suffering And once again we celebrate Our Freindship

Deepest condolences to the Moran Family. Our connection to Peter goes back a very long way… as Paul Hanratty ( my husband) and Peter were childhood friends in Carrickmacross. Reconnected in the 1980’s in Toronto, Canada, we spent many family gatherings together with the Moran family over the years. A golfer, an avid horseback rider, a singer… Peter did it all. Always the life of the party and a true gentleman. He will be sadly missed and remembered . Rest In Peace Peter
