I have just seen this now and am sad to hear of her passing. I was thinking and talking about her only recently. She looked after me during my second pregnancy and my son was one of the last babies being born in Loughlinstown. She continued to look after me for over 20 years after that. I loved her no nonsense approach. May she rest in peace.

I've known Dr. Miriam since 1970 and she was a very good and caring friend. She happened to deliver two of my three sons in Mount Carmel Hospital - Maternity Section and looked after me so very well at that time. We visited one another regularly and since she entered the Nursing Home and as my husband and I moved to Kerry our visits were not as regular. I am so sad to hear of her passing and she deserves all that is good in her Eternal home.

Nice memories of Dr.Miriam who I'm so grateful for her support during my 3 daughters birth in St.Michael's in the 70ies. May she rest in peace.
