<p>KENNEDY BRISTOW, Sophie (originally of New York City, lately of Birr, Offaly), passed away peacefully in her sleep January 6, 2022. Beloved widow of John Michael Bristow, mother of Adam, Cecily (and husband Michael), Caelan (and husband Nick), grandmother of Ciaran, Arvo and Aidan. Sophie was preceded in death by her late brother, Rev. Christopher Kennedy and is cherished by her brothers, Padraic and his late wife Ellen, Rev. Malcolm Kennedy, Emmett and his wife Jane, Paul and his wife Paulette and Sophie's many nieces and nephews. Sophie was an accomplished pianist. She was loved by her many wonderful friends from far and wide, including from the many years she spent teaching music at Queens University in Canada. Reposing at Boyd's Funeral Home, Birr, tomorrow (Sunday) from 2.00pm-4.00pm. Followed by memorial service on January 12 (Wednesday) at 2.15pm in The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin.</p>

Adam, hugs to you, your sisters and your families. I was just nosing around the internet and found this now in 2025. I remember Sophie with great fondness. Jeri & Dolf both died recently too. Hope we can catch up one day soon.
