MOFFITT, Jonathan

So sad to loose my dear friend Jonathan. We shared many times together at Swindon Town football, as well as various racecourses, enjoying a couple of beers and contributing to the bookies benevolent fund. Jonathan loved nothing more than a gathering of friends, where he was the life and sole of the party. Always happy and willing to do a good turn and help someone out, his death is a tremendous loss to all that new him. Rest in Peace

O'HAGAN, Freddie

Dear Cousins, Freddie’s passing has revived many fond memories of him, Dympna and your whole family. From our first visit to Mount Verona in 1967 through a series of get-togethers with the “Canadian O’Hagans” Freddie was always the most good-natured and welcoming host. His open-hearted hospitality never changed, whether we were accompanied by a friend or spouse or a couple of teenage children. With Freddie and Dympna in residence, Mount Verona was always the best place for an extended family gathering, with an abundance of food, drink, talk and, most of all, laughter. After Freddie and Gerry both lost their wives, Freddie always made the effort to keep in touch. He phoned Gerry on special occasions and made a couple of trips to England to join extended family festivities. These thoughtful efforts meant a lot to all of us, particularly our dad. Freddie was good fun and a good man. We were lucky to have him as an uncle and he will be missed. With love, Cara-Marie and Rory
