O'DONOVAN, David (Rathgar, Dublin) - On March 15th, 2023, died peacefully at home in the company of his family and friends after a long illness borne with dignity. His last days were managed by family and friends with the professional assistance and wonderful, gentle and thoughtful care of carers from Bluebird Care, Dublin South, the palliative care team of Harold’s Cross Hospice and Care Services and night nurses from the Irish Cancer Society. Very sadly missed by his brothers Derry and Donough, stepmother Sara, sisters-in-law Angela and Edina, nephews Peter, James, Owen and Cillian, nieces Julianne and Isabelle, extended family and very many friends and colleagues. May he rest in peace. Reposing at his residence on Sunday (March 19th) from 2pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday (20th March) at 1.15pm in the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in lieu to Our Lady's Hospice and Irish Cancer Society.
