GEARY, Padraig (Knocknacarra, Galway and formerly Clonmel, Co. Tipperary) - December 18, 2011 (peacefully) at University Hospital, Galway. He will be sadly missed by his wife Lucy, daughters Rachel and Rebecca, mother Noreen, sisters Aedin and Triona, brother Ronan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at St. Anthony's room, within the grounds of the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra today (Monday) from 5p.m. with Removal at 7p.m. to the Church. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11 a.m. followed by private cremation.Requiescat in pace

I know it'ssome time ago since Padraig died but I only heard this tonight catching up with old school friends. I'm very saddened .. I have very lovely memories from school, the performance of the Gondoliers and all his support and encouragement during my leaving cert.... To his family I offer warm regards and sincere condolences on the passing of a kind, funny and gentle soul.
