EGAN - Meleesa (Castlebar, Co. Mayo) - March 4, 2023, peacefully at home. Beloved daughter of the late Eithne and Michael J. Deeply missed by her sisters: Coleesa, Mary Kate, Eanya, Felicity, Geraldine, Micheline, Pauline, her brother John, her forever-friend Maura Lyons, her chief advocate Mary Martin, sister-in-law Mary Barton and brothers-in-law John
Curtin, Paul FitzGerald, Aidan Crowley, Ki Duong and Frank-Karel Snepvangers. Godmother to Robert and Ellen, devoted aunt to Clementine, Jack, Simon, Kai, Rowan, Callan, Megan and Pieter. Sincere thanks to the medical staff at Mayo University Hospital and St. John’s Unit, Castlebar for their expert care. Deep gratitude also to the superb team of carers and supporters from the HSE, RehabCare, IWA, Western Care, RHS, Connected Health, Mayo County Council, Castlebar Library staff past and present, healthcare providers, Mayo, and the wide circle of friends, neighbours, taxi drivers and acquaintances who ensured Meleesa
could live independently in the comfort of her own home to the very end. Reposing today (Wednesday) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in Coady’s Funeral Home. Funeral Mass in The Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, at 11.30am tomorrow
