AYERS, Kenneth

I woke up this morning and although we haven't been in touch for a long time, I knew you had gone. You saved us when we lost our precious girl and went on to save our big boy too. You gave us hope when we wanted to give up. I idolised you and you hated it, but you had no idea what you did for us. Look out for our Ella Dr Lovely and rest in peace now x

SORAHAN, Séamus SC, Seamus

I had the privilege and the pleasure of meeting Seamus at the Four Courts in Dublin on one very happy occasion. We discussed illegally obtained evidence and wrongful visual identification on which Seamus was a leading authority, following the case be took to the Supreme Court in 1963. See The People (Attorney General) -v- Casey. 1963 I.R. at page 33. He was the outstanding criminal barrister of his generation, and he has not been replaced. He is sadly missed by all who knew him.

Saddened to hear of the passing of my teacher and Mentor, Christy Conville. He taught me all of the engineering skills and introduced me to kayaking, which I made a a business from for 30 years. I have fond memories of our time in BCS as I suppose, one of his first students there. I am now an Engineering consultant in Sydney Australia, Rest in Peace and Thank you Christy

KIRKPATRICK, Robert

I only recently learned Dr Kirkpatrick had passed away, during a conversation about the teachers who had changed our lives. I loved his history class, while his chats about current affairs during my frequent detentions for bunking off sports made me realise there was a better time coming as a grown-up. I think about him still 25 years since leaving school and wish I'd had the chance to say thank you to him.
