CONNOLLY, Ann (Sandymount, formerly of Rathgar and late of Calor Kosangas) May 31, 2022 (peacefully) in the tender care of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, after a short illness. Predeceased by her brother Frank. Sadly missed by her sisters Patricia and Pauline, brothers-in-law Alan and Malcolm, her nephews Conor, Ronan, Cian and Eoghan, niece Cathy and by in-laws Maree, Yvonne, Jo and Dean, grandnieces and grandnephews, her cousins and her many loyal friends especially in her neighbourhood and the Labour Party. Reposing at Carnegies Funeral Home, the Crescent Monkstown, today (Wednesday) from 2.00 pm. until 4.00 pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 10.00am. in the Church of St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Sandymount followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. BORZA, Margaret (nee Glennon) (Broadstone, Dublin, formerly of Hollywood, Co. Wicklow) - Passed away peacefully at home after a hard brave battle, on Saturday 28th May 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife and soulmate to Antonio, loving mother of Joe and Pace, kind mother-in-law to Amy and Alan, devoted sister of Kay, Johnny and Patsy, Nonny to her much loved grandchildren Alannah, Lily, Pia, Jack and Sean, and loving aunt and grandaunt to her many nieces and nephews. Removal from house in Wards of Tober, Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow at 7.30pm on today (Monday) to arrive at St. Kevin's Church, Hollywood for 8pm. Funeral Mass on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11.00am, followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery.

POWER, Nora (Brighton Avenue, Rathgar and Late of Grange, Co Limerick) Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in the loving care of the staff in St Gladys Nursing Home, Harold’s Cross, Dublin. Beloved daughter of the late Alice and Jim Power. Predeceased by her brothers John and Ned. Very sadly missed by her loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family, life-long friends and wonderful neighbours. May she Rest in Peace. O'NEILL, Donal (Monkstown and formerly Blackrock, Co. Dublin) May 27, 2022. Peacefully, with his family in the kind care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly beloved brother to Frank, Peter and Caitriona. Donal will be very sadly missed by his family, sister-in-law Jane, niece Suzanne, nephews Stephen (his wife Gráinne) and the late David, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Alzheimer Day Centre, Blackrock for their support and kindness during Donal’s illness. Mayo and Rathfarnham, Dublin, and formerly of Mount Pleasant Nursing Home), in the excellent care of Dr. Siobhan Kennelly and her team, also the nurses of the Cypress and Cherry Ward, Connolly Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John, and much-loved Mum to Tim, Bernie, Kieran and Damian. She will be deeply missed by her children, daughters-in-law Jackie, Mary and Eilis, son-in-law Brian, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, wider family and friends. SHERWOOD (née Woods) (Dundrum, Dublin 16), Freda Margaret, at St. Vincent's Private Hospital on May 27, 2013, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully after a long illness borne with grace, fortitude and dignity. Deeply regretted and sorely missed by her loving husband Robert (Robbie), her devoted children Lee, Tracy, Alun, and Megan, adored grandchildren Conor, Leighan, Ruby, Charlie and Amber, sister Hazel, brother-in-law Ken, relatives and especially Aunt Gladys, son-in-law Vincent, Brian, fondly remembered by her loving friends and neighbours.
