GANNON - As we approach the first anniversary of John and Hugh's deaths, Bernie, Louise, Tom and Frank would like to thank from the bottom of their hearts all those who helped us come to terms with the sudden deaths of the twins. To those who travelled long journeys to attend either or both funerals in one week, we are eternally grateful. Thank you to Fr Wall and Fr Byrne who celebrated funeral masses and to Fr Heffernan and Fr Collins from Newbridge College who concelebrated both masses. We are extremely grateful to Kirwans and Quinn's funeral homes for their kindness and professionalism. We received the most touching, heartfelt letters and cards, thank you to everyone who took the time to contact us. To John and Hugh's childhood friends, those from Annaduff N.S and Newbridge College and those they made in life, a special thank you for your love and support. To our friends and neighbours (in Dublin and Leitrim), we quite simply would not have got through this time without you. Your love, comfort and support has helped us through a very difficult year. To our family and our in-laws: the Boucher, McMahon and Maye families, thank you for helping us carry this burden. As we struggle to live with these two tragedies, we hope and pray that John and Hugh are re-united with their father, Tom in Heaven. A holy sacrifice of mass will be offered for your intentions.
