DUNNE - The family of the late Gráinne Dunne (Mount Merrion, Glenageary and Hanover) wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and the gestures of kindness shown to us following Gráinne's untimely death earlier this year. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, valued friends, her colleagues both at home and abroad, and her students who all provided amazing support during her illness and at the time of her death. We appreciate the celebration of the Funeral Mass by Monsignor Delargy, Canon Bermingham and Deacon Cooney in Monkstown Church. The wonderful music on the day was provided by her students and colleagues from the RIAM and we are extremely grateful to them for such a beautiful and fitting send off. We also wish to thank the staff of St. Vincent's Hospital, Professor Crown and Dr Yasser for the respectful and professional care they offered Gráinne throughout her illness. Her final weeks were spent in the loving care of all at the Blackrock Hospice who were simply magnificent. We are truly heartened by the warmth and continued support from all those who loved Gráinne. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually and so we ask you to please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

MCENIFF - Pat, Remembered with love today on his third anniversary by Maureen, Patrick, Dara, Nessa, Eimear, sons and daughters in law, grandchildren and extended family, neighbours and friends.

GRIMES - Dr. Paul (Twenty-eighth Anniversary) and his Dad Noel (Ninth Anniversary) - Sadly missed, lovingly remembered - Sheila, Orla, Noel and extended family.

KEATING - Mary (née Magee) - In loving memory of my dear wife Mary, who died December 9, 2009. Sadly missed by husband Gerry, sons and daughters, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. Rest in Peace.

TOBIN - (Dundrum, Dublin and formerly of Mountbellew, Co. Galway and Newport, Co. Mayo). Died October 13, 2023 -

The Kealy family wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on the death of our aunt, Elizabeth (Lil) Tobin. Lil died in her 104th year, after a long and interesting life spent in Newport, Mountbellew and Dublin.

Special thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours who attended Lil’s Reposal in Fanagans, and her funeral Mass (including those who joined online) and also to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, phone calls and messages of condolence (including those on RIP.ie and Midwest Radio.ie). We will be eternally grateful to all who ensured that Lil received a dignified and loving farewell, most of all Fr. Fergus O’Donoghue who celebrated the funeral Mass and was a welcome caller to Lil with Holy Communion on the First Friday of every month. Thanks to soloist Raphaela Mangan and organist Josh Johnston for the beautiful music; to all personnel at the Church of the Miraculous Medal, Bird Avenue, Clonskeagh; to Philip Brennan who led Lil’s burial prayers in Glasnevin Cemetery and the Glasnevin Cemetery staff, and to the staff in The Goat restaurant. We would especially like to thank Fanagans of Dundrum, Dublin, for their professional support and kindness throughout the funeral process.

Sincere thanks to all those who cared so devotedly for Lil in her final years, including Dr. Knut H. Moe, Dr. Sally Meagher and all at Moe Family Practice; the consultants, doctors, nurses, staff and chaplain at St. Vincent’s Hospital during her brief final illness; the personnel in the Blackrock Clinic during previous illnesses, and Gillian and colleagues from Bluebird Care. Thanks also to Lil’s relatives and friends, particularly those from Galway/Mountbellew/Philadelphia/Newport, who kept in constant touch and brightened her days with their phone calls and visits.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgement as a heartfelt expression of our deepest gratitude to you all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. 

O'BRIEN - Dr Paddy (December 12, 1998, Twenty-fifth Anniversary)  

Remembering our Dad, Paddy, with much love today and always. Also our Mum, Trish, who died on October 12,  2021. Both are sadly missed and forever in our hearts.

NORTON - Michael - On this, his first anniversary, Michael’s wife Mary Lou and our children John, Robert, Louise and Andrew would like to thank, with heart felt appreciation, all the people who sent expressions of sympathy to us on Michael’s death. Your support and kindness were a great help. Thank you also to the lovely staff in Slievemore Clinic in Stillorgan and in SVPH for their personal attention and comfort given to Michael during his final weeks. An anniversary mass will be held in the Church of the Sacred Heart Donnybrook on Sunday December 10, at 12pm.
